Here in Illinois, they've updated the Learning Standards for Fine Arts, you can see it  here. This hasn't been done in almost 20 years! The previous version from 1997 can be found here.

It's been updated to include more 21st century skills and new technologies. Many of the changes are subtle (at least in the visual art section) but important.

Honestly, it'd be nice to see more arts integration emphasized, but I'm happy to see some in there. 

Considering 24 states don't see the arts as a core subject area and therefore don't require schools to implement their art learning standards (crazzzy huh!?) I'm pretty thrilled to see arts education get attention here in Illinois.
