I was looking at the work of Amy Bessone. In her most recent exhibition at the Gavlak Gallery entitled "In The Century of Women" she investigates the stigma of Divorce in the 30's-70's.
I'm impressed with the variety of media she uses. Each piece stays true to her concept while also working together to strengthen her message.
The photographic portraits in the image below show women in court for their divorce. She displays them larger than life with strength and dignity.
