The Yarn Shop I'm an Artist in Residence at is transforming into a Fiber Art Studio!

I’m super excited to share some news on the yarn shop that I’m an artist in residence at. Chastity the owner has developed a super cool vision that would transform the yarn shop into a fiber art studio.

Her vision is a yarn shop that includes classes, yarn retail, a space for fiber artists to work on their artwork and -most unique of all- a yarn dying studio. Currently many yarn dyers need to use their home kitchens which is messy and can be unsafe. Opening a dye studio would create a safe place for dyers to make their yarn and will encourage new artisans to enter that field.

Below is the link to Chastity’s Go Fund Me campaign to help her launch the project. I donated and I hope you will too!

“Chastity is amazing! She's incredibly knowledgeable and generous. Her vision for the new space is unique and will advance the fiber arts by creating a space that will include all the current services as well as encourage yarn dying and new forms of fiber art. Chastity you're the best!” ~The comment I made with my donation.
