Knitting Machines

In this class, artists will be introduced to the knitting machine, its history and parts.


Topics covered may include how to thread the machine, cast on, shape knitwear, create picture knitting, and bind off. In addition to being faster the knitting machine is a fantastic option for those with hand dexterity challenges.


Skill level: Intro level to advanced. No previous experience required.


Materials: Bring your own machine or use one of ours!

Spinning is a fun and relaxing way to experience fiber.They will learn the parts of the wheel, fiber content, drafting methods, and color mixing.



Skill level: Beginner no previous experience necessary.

Digital Drawing

Digital drawing is an economical and efficient method for many artists to express themselves. We will cover essential drawing techniques as applied to digital tools. iPad, Android, and computer tablets can be used. Applications covered include Procreate, Infinite Painter, and/or Krita.


Skill Level: Beginner

Portrait drawing is one of the most challenging and rewarding subjects to draw. I’ll guide you through the steps in creating a portrait that is both expressive and has a likeness.

We will use reference photos in this class.
